I thought I might share with you all so that you can understand a little bit more about me, and why I may not answer your phone call(s).
My anxiety goes through the roof when the phone rings. This is a depiction of how I feel and what my mind goes through whenever the phone rings.
My Anxiety
I suffer from anxiety. Some days I suffer far more than others.
Being empathic doesn’t help; it adds to my existing anxiety because I pick up on the anxiety (and all other feelings) of other people constantly.
It is SO bad, that I cannot answer the phone most times. And when someone calls me and leaves a message to call them back, I cannot call back most times.
I have actually gone out of my way and driven to various places just to talk to someone in person rather than pick up the phone and save myself time and gas. I’d rather talk in person than on the phone.
Even writing this I’m filling up with anxiety just thinking about using the phone. That’s how bad it gets. Anyone with anxiety problems should understand.
It’s hard for me when it comes to running this Tarot/Psychic business, because without being able to use the phone, like a ‘normal’ person, I do lose out on potential clients, which is detrimental to my business.
I CAN however, with no issues at all, communicate through emails, and in person. This is why I have a calendar where clients can automatically book an appointment with me instantly on their own, and also why I have readings available through email.
The calendar booking system is really easy to use and is great for people with anxiety (like me) to be able to book a reading with me. I set it up this way because I completely understand what it’s like to want to go and see a psychic, but can’t because I wouldn’t be able to make the call to set up the appointment.
Also with the automatic booking calendar, I get an email right away when you book your appointment, so I DO know you’re coming, and you get an email as well letting you know what time and day you booked for. You also get my address (where the appointment is) in that email as well.
This anxiety issue of mine, and the fact that I can’t use the phone, also restricts me from giving readings over the phone (which I get asked a lot to do). I don’t like the phone, never have, and probably never will. I do NOT give phone readings, and I WILL NOT give phone readings probably ever. Sorry.
I’m ok for reading you in person, and going somewhere for a party or gathering to read people, but the phone thing is my BIGGEST, by far, anxiety issue.
I am very sorry if you call and I don’t answer. I really, truly am sorry. It’s not that I don’t WANT to answer, I just CAN’T answer.

Contacting me in this way, I WILL get back to you as soon as humanly possible. When I’m home and at my computer, I answer almost immediately most times.
This anxiety issue does not take away from my Tarot readings in ANY way. The readings I give you are still very on-point and accurate (so I keep getting told). It DOES, however, limit my healing abilities, my past life readings, and any visions I may get. I can only heal distantly, and get visions (which includes past life readings) when no one is around, because, unfortunately, the anxiety is far too great for doing any of this in person. This is why THOSE services are offered online only.
I just feel that everyone who comes here should be made aware of my anxiety issues, because I feel the more you know about someone, the more likely you are to be comfortable with that person and who they are. And maybe, just maybe, if you’re suffering from anxiety too, and are afraid to book an appointment with me, that knowing this will put your mind at ease and allow you to come see me, because I can understand where you’re coming from.
UPDATE: I looked up to see if there was an actual phobia of the telephone, and to my surprise, I found out, there IS! It’s called Telephone Phobia. This is what I suffer from most with my different forms of anxiety.
